Description:
Nisoldipine is a medicine that includes calcium channel blocker group who works in a way to relax (widen) blood vessels and improve blood flow.
Indications:
Used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension).
Dose:
By mouth (orally) 50-10 mg given as much as two times a day, or by mouth (orally) 10 mg a day one time.
Dose may be increased up to 20 mg by mouth (orally), two times daily.
Side Effects:
CV effects (depression of cardiac function, hypotension, worsening heart failure, edema, bradycardia), GI effects (constipation); CNS effects (headache, dizziness).
HR regulate calcium antagonists (such as diltiazem, verapamil Gallopamil &); decomposition of AV, AV block, bradycardia and sinus disorders stem.
Brief interactions dihydropyridine agents should be avoided because it heightens the potential risk of worsening heart condition.
Special Instructions:
Berkontra-indications in patients who clearly suffered a loss of heart failure, although vasoselective dihydropyridine (such as Amlodipine, Felodipine) can survive in patients with decreased LVEF.
HR berkontra regulating calcium antagonist-indications with patients with bradycardia, sinus disorders stem & AV nodal block.
