Description:

Indications:

To treat heart failure and angina.

Dose:

Dosing: 50-10 mcg / minute IV via infusion after dilution.

Plus 5 mcg / min IV every 3-5 minutes until some response seen.

If no response with 20 mcg / minute: May increase the dose of 10 mcg / min and thereafter if necessary, additional $ 20 mcg / min can be given.

Dosage: 10-200 mcg / min

Side Effects:

Giving IV (especially if given too quickly), may cause CV effects (hypotension, acute anxiety retosternal, turbulent, tachycardia); GI effects (nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain); EfekCNS (headaches, dizziness, fear , restlessness, muscle spasms, syncope); Other effects (diaphoresis); gift which has been associated with methemoglobinemia extended.

Special Instructions:

Stay away from patients with acute hypotension, hypovolemia, anemia, heart failure in relation to the disturbances, or increased pressure associated with trauma or bleeding.
