Description:

Dose:

Providing additional capsule:

By mouth (orally) 2.5 mg, given 2-3 times daily, or

By mouth (orally), 5 mg, given 2-3 times daily in severe cases.

Additional supplementation:

Dose given by mouth (orally) of 2.6 mg, twice daily

May be increased up to 4.6 mg by mouth (orally) 0.2 to 3 times a day (dosage will depend on the formulation).

Side Effects:

CNS effects (headaches, which usually increases with the provision of long-term, light headedness, fatigue, and syncope); Effects of CV but rather rare (bradycardia, hypotension); Securities GI (N / V, bowel incontinence, xerostomia).

Tolerance to nitrates are usually developed with the long-term use and nitrate-free dosing within a reasonable time was required.

Special Instructions:

Doses to treat nitrate tolerance: It is advisable to give the last dose at 7 pm; do 2x a day than 4x a day; do preparations continued dosing in the morning.
