Description:
piroxicam are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that has anti-inflammatory activity, analgesic – antipyretic. Piroxicam work activity is not fully known, estimated through the interaction of several stages of the immune response and inflammation, among others: the inhibition of cyclo-oxygenase enzyme in the biosynthesis of prostaglandins, inhibition of neutrophils in the collection of blood vessels, and inhibition of migration of polymorphonuclear (PMN) and monocytes into areas of inflammation.

Composition :
Each capsule contains 10 mg of piroxicam.

Indications:
symptomatic therapy rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, acute musculoskeletal disorders and acute gout.

Dosage:
Adult rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondylitis, an initial dose of 20 mg in a single dose. Acute gout, 40 mg daily in single dose for 4-6 days. Acute musculoskeletal disorders, 40 mg daily in single dose for 2 days, then 20 mg daily in single dose for 7-14 days. The dose for children is unknown.
