Description

Aase-Smith syndrome is rare because the disease is a disorder that is inherited. However, there are some cases which are not due to heredity and unknown causes. Disorder characterized by multiple abnormal joints and skeleton (disability). Genetic basis of disease is not known. But clearly this disorder associated with anemia.

Symptom

- Slow growth

- A small shoulder

- Pale face

- Cleft lip

- Abnormal ears (disabled)

Treatment

Treatment provided to patients is to perform blood transfusions since the age of one year baby.Another possible treatment is transplantation of bone sunsum.
